Frozen roads

Frozen lives

Frozen tears

Frozen fears

Frozen at just two years

Upon the birth of the chosen One

God chose to take another one

An innocent for an innocent

A mothers frozen tears

As she realizes her worst fears

Her baby frozen at two years

A child taken before his time

Though it was God’s perfect time

Time for His child to come home

Never to know fear

Never to shed another tear

Never to be impure

A heart frozen in time

A life frozen in time

A moment frozen in time

A child frozen in time

A child frozen in purity

A child frozen in love

A home frozen in peace

A home frozen in joy

A home frozen in everlasting love

A home with the Father

A home with no pain

A home with no fear

This past week there was a terrible accident and a young mother lost her 2 year old son. It was no fault of hers as I understand it. It was just a bunch of terrible different things that added up to tragedy. This young mother 30 was driving down a major highway the roads were very icy, it was snowing really bad and she lost control. She lost control and swerved to the left causing her to hit the median. There was so much snow along the median that it acted as a ramp, and her truck went over. Thus causing them to head into oncoming traffic. Her truck was struck mostly head on (they were hit in the front and passenger side, it’s hard to explain. They were at an angle) by a semi-truck. Her two sons were in the back seat, buckled into their car seats. Her two year old was very badly hurt and later died in the hospital, while her four year old is in serious life threatening condition. She has minor injuries, well the kind a doctor can put a Band-Aid on anyways. Emotionally I can’t even imagine what she is feeling. I cried like a baby when I heard about the accident. My cousin who I work with asked if the CSI truck typically goes to motor vehicle accidents and I told him no only if there is a fatality. Later that night my cousin informed me that it was a fatality, and that it was a child, an innocent two year old baby boy. It always seems to hurt so much more when it is a child. I think it is because we accept adults passing due to the fact that they have had a chance to live. A child is the epitome of innocence. This Christmas season please slow down on the roads. Take your time, where ever it is you are going I am certain it will still be there if you take an extra few moments. A few moments to potentially save a life. Now that seems like a fair trade to me. It may not only be your life you are saving, it could be your mom, dad, sister, brother, or even your child’s. So please show caution, if there is a no travel advisory stay home and be safe. God bless you and please send your deepest prayers up for the family, friends and anyone affected by the early passing of this child. I could not imagine losing a child, let along losing one during the Christmas season.

We are all connected to one another in some sense and that’s why we can feel what others are feeling.
Although it might not be as deep…it’s still there.
The little boy will have the best Christmas ever from this year into eternity.
In reality it’s a huge loss but at the end of the discussion god took him for a reason.
What it might be at such a young age we may never know.
    Here’s my prayer:

father, i pray today that the parents effected by this tragedy are well taken care of and that they receive every bit of help and support you can give.
I pray that you will not only help them get through the tragedy of a lost loved one but give them a full recovery.
Father, i ask of you to spill your love to the ones effected by this loss and that you send your angels down to protect them and the strength to get through it.

In Jesus name i pray, Amen!

My prayers are with the family.

Amen, Amen that was a beautiful prayer, thank you. He really will have the best CHRISTmas ever. I can’t say the same about the family. Not knowing why is so frustrating! Thank you for encouraging me to finish this and to post it! 🙂 I don’t know how long I would have left if you haven’t! God bless you!!!

Yeah it is unfortunate for the family.
Encouragement always does help with a boost but you always have to be ready to post it and it’s when you feel that it’s good enough to post, that you will post 🙂
        God bless you
