Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace we all sing.
How sweet the sound.
How sweet was her sound.
The Grace of a thousand angels.
Emulating the very beauty of Grace.
The way it must have sounded when the Heavens opened.
Opened to welcome her home.
It must have sounded like that night so long ago.
Her favorite song comes on to let us know she is home.
To have heard the songs of rejoicing.
One of Gods children welcomed home.
So long she fought, she cried, she tried.
A loving wife.
A devoted mother, full of Grace, patients and love.
Doing all she could with what she could.
A sniffle or a cold.
She didn’t need to be told.
Home made chicken noodle.
Seemed to simple.
When the cupboards were empty.
Rice pudding for plenty.
Always a provider.
With the Grace of God inside her.
A pillar of strength and faith for her family around her.
Now she stands as she was in the photograph of days past.
Watching over us, guiding us.
Until we are together at last.

This was a piece I wrote for my grandma Grace that passed away a few years ago. Not the one who passed this year.

Urgent prayer requests!!!!!!!!!

As I was posting my last blog about being so happy we got a call that my ill grandma, who’s been doing really well lately, just got rushed to the hospital. She aspirated and now has fluid in her lungs. The nursing home she lives OD’d her on gravel trying to get her to stop vomiting and now she’s lethargic and won’t really wake up. They fear she may have phenmonia (I don’t know how to spell it) this is not the grandma I was baking with. This grandma was given days to live, then when she didn’t pass they put her in the hospice, after 6 or so months there they said she was to healthy to be there and put her in a care facility. She is so strong it’s unbelievable! Please pray for her and my uncle Andrew. He is with her virtually 24hrs a day. She is absolutely everything to him. He is so scared right now he needs big prayers of strength. Please pray for my family and for healing I would appreciate it soooooo much!!!! Thank you God bless you!
